Just like human moms, furry moms like Mama Ally always have their family’s best interests at heart. One day, Mama Ally, a stray cat, decided that the streets were no place for her and her kittens. So, she bravely brought her little family to a safe haven she had found.
The scene unfolded at a family’s doorstep in North Carolina as Mama Ally and her two adorable white furballs sat, gazing in through the window, hoping to catch someone’s eye and find refuge.
After coming across Mama Ally and her adorable kittens, a concerned homeowner reached out to Sparkle Cat Rescue for assistance. The rescue team quickly sprang into action to safely trap the feline family. However, they were in for a surprise when they discovered that Mama Ally was not only caring for her kittens but also expecting another litter of kittens.
The rescue organization contacted their affiliate, Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue, and its founder Sarah Kelly for help in fostering Mama Ally. Without hesitation, Kelly happily agreed to provide a safe and cozy environment for the cat to spend the remainder of her pregnancy. Mama Ally then expressed her gratitude towards her new caregivers upon her arrival.
According to Sarah Kelly, as soon as Mama Ally was brought home, she was already vying for attention from her foster, Monica. “She enjoys cozying up in Monica’s lap, arm, or wherever she can snuggle the closest! If Monica leaves the house, Mama Ally spends her day sleeping on her shoes or clothing just to be close to her scent. She craves human interaction and love.” As time went on, Mama Ally continued to show why she is deserving of the title “Mother of the Year.”
Sarah Kelly described the cat as having a very kind heart. Despite being a stray and caring for her older kittens expertly, she sought help when needed. Kelly was impressed by her giving birth to five kittens like a champion and lovingly taking care of them, proving herself to be an amazing mother.
Sarah Kelly shared that Mama Ally’s older kittens who were bonded have found their forever homes together. Now, the focus is on finding loving families for Ally and her five adorable new babies. It’s heartwarming to see how Ally’s instincts led her to reach out for assistance, paving the way for a bright future for her and her little ones.
